Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following her initial audition, she placed within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. Felix became the world's youngest winner in the 200m in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three across her diverse races at the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
